He earned Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Psychology from Colorado State University. He also completed a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Fellowship at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine and an American Psychological Association (APA) Internship in Clinical Psychology at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. Following internship, he went on to complete postdoctoral residency training in Clinical Psychology at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Dr. Goldwaser provides professional support to adults looking to make positive changes in their lives and he uses an accepting, but direct and practical style to generate change in people.
